I am SO excited to bring you another natural deodorant review! If you missed my first two, go ahead and start with those – I reviewed Primally Pure’s deodorant and Kopari’s deodorant.
We are chatting about Native this time! If you stroll the aisles of Target as often as I do, you’ve probably seen this brand. They take pride in their clean, effective and cruelty free products as well as their ability to encourage others to make the switch to safer products.
I was gifted an awesome holiday trio set from a dear friend in December, so I was able to try a few different scents out. I was really impressed by the product, so I have since purchased a full-size deodorant in the scent Cucumber & Mint. It is what I have been using daily!
The consistency of the deodorant, as well as the packaging, are just like the deodorant that we are all used to which I absolutely love. There is no learning curve like I have experienced with other brands I have tried, so I think it is a great option for natural-deodorant newbies.
One of my favorite things about this product is that it’s the least expensive of all of the natural deodorants I have ever tried! I have spent $25 on natural deodorant in the past, but this one is only $12. You can get it on a subscription schedule on their website for $10 which is a really great option as well. Pro tip: If you have a Redcard at Target, it comes out to be about $11 with the 5% off.
Native offers 7 classic scents, 4 seasonal scents and sensitive scent options. I will say that the cucumber mint and the vanilla coconut have more of a faint smell. I would like it if they were a tinnyy bit more potent, so I am going to try a different scent next time to see how they differ if at all, but it’s by no means a dealbreaker.
The lasting power of Native’s deodorant is incredible. I have never noticed a need to re-apply even on the warmest day. Of course, I would re-apply after a workout if I wasn’t able to shower immediately, but that’s usually not the case for me.
There are 17k reviews on their website giving their deodorant a 5-star rating. It is accessible, affordable and looks and feels just like the deodorants we have always known and loved. I recommend it to any newbie or seasoned natural deodorant user!
Also, if you aren’t a fan of plastic packaging, that’s okay! They also offer Plastic Free paper packaging.
As with any product I review, I want you to remember that some products work very well on some people and not so well on the others, so I hope you file this review under “research” and use it to find the deodorant brand that is right for you if Native isn’t your jam. This post is not at all sponsored – just me tellin’ you what I think!
If you have any questions, please let me know! I would be SO happy to help you with your natural deodorant journey.
